Mark Rogers

Although I now call Adelaide home, I grew up on the limestone coast in Millicent, where my family had chickens and a couple cats. While we lived there, I would spend my summer holidays looking after some of the local high school’s livestock from small baby chickens to a few cows. We moved to Adelaide at the start of 2013.

While undertaking year 12, I completed my Certificate III in Rural Operations Animal Care and Husbandry before going on to my degree of veterinary technology with the university of Adelaide.

At the start of 2025 I wore my parents down enough and got 2 kittens. A rambunctious boy named Crash for his clumsy explorations, a very sweet and cuddly girl named Bandicoot and Bucket our rescued goldfish. Although I’ve always wanted to get a dog, well a Border Collie to be honest. These 2 certainly keep my hands full but have made a lovely addition to the family.

Outside of work, I am passionate about scouting and have been actively involved for most of my life, now as a leader helping to mentor youth and organize outdoor adventures. I am also an avid ultimate frisbee player.
