Ashlee Vandenbroek

After growing up in the Adelaide Hills and attending Belair Primary and Unley High School, it’s a privilege to now be caring for the pets and people of this wonderful community. I graduated from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Roseworthy in 2022 and have been part of the Blackwood Vets team ever since.

Over the past few years, I’ve built a strong foundation in general practice and developed a particular interest in medicine. I’m passionate about helping pets live happy, healthy lives—and making sure they feel as calm and comfortable as possible during their visits to the clinic. I value a collaborative approach and enjoy working closely with owners to find practical, personalised care plans that suit each pet and their unique needs.

Outside of work, I love getting out into nature, spending time with friends and family, and indulging in my photography hobby—especially when animals are involved.

It means a lot to be doing what I love in the community that helped shape who I am, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members.
